Claude Connector Demo: PreSales Work From One Conversation
Watch a sales engineer and their leader update a deal, log a blocker and prepare for a forecast call by asking Claude in plain language.
Why It Matters
A scorecard is only as good as its last update, and updating it after every call is admin nobody has time for. When a blocker turns up mid-deal, the SE has to log the gap, update the ticket, change the next meeting and tell their manager, in four different places.
With the Elvance connector, the SE says what happened and Claude makes the updates in Elvance. Leaders can ask questions of the whole pipeline the same way, minutes before a forecast call.
What You’ll See
- An SE asks for a quick technical summary of a deal, and Claude replies with the POC result, technical health score and expected technical win date, beside the deal’s Elvance scorecard.
- The SE reports a blocker: single sign-on came up as critical and the customer won’t sign without it.
- Claude finds the existing product gap, adds it to the deal as a blocker, updates the linked Jira ticket and records the next meeting and champion. The score drops to reflect the new risk.
- A leader asks for the team’s deals with technical risk above 60 that close in the next month, then checks last week’s utilization by sales engineer.
All companies, people and revenue figures in the video are demo data.
